Smiths Falls Continues to Build International Collaboration
Town of Smiths Falls Mayor Dennis Staples and Economic Development Manager Bob Cheetham met today with a delegation of Chinese professionals in Ottawa to further collaborative efforts to strengthen the town’s sister-city platform with the City of Xiangyang, Hubei Province, China.
The delegation made a special stop in Ottawa to visit with both Smiths Falls and Willis College of Business, Health and Technology representatives as part of a world wind tour that started last week, taking the 16-member delegation to Moscow, Paris, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver before returning home next week to Xiangyang, China.
