Work on water tower nears completion
By the beginning of December, maintenance work on the water tower, including the replacement of the Hershey emblem with the town logo, should be completed.
Ted Joynt, the Water/Wastewater Operations Superintendent for the Town of Smiths Falls, says the project, which started on Oct. 22 with the draining of the tower, is expected to be finished with the tower back online by Dec. 1.
