Open to youth with barriers to employment, Skills Link is a six-month program that runs five days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. An allowance equal to the provincial minimum wage is available to those who participate.
A community-based program, Skills Link offers training in:
- Managing interpersonal relationships;
- Turning obstacles into opportunities;
- Career planning;
- Developing financial plans;
- Conflict resolution;
- Leadership training.
