Wastewater System
The Wastewater system collects and treats wastewater from residential, commerical, industrial and institutional locations through a series of underground pipes.
This wastewater enters the system through sinks, toilets, bathtubs and major appliances where it travels through sanitary sewers or combined sewers (which is one pipe collecting sanitary sewage and storm water runoff) before arriving at the Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) for treatment.
