Fall leaf and yard waste collection schedule
The Town of Smiths Falls will be collecting leaves, grass clippings and brush during the third week of November. Brush will be picked up on or after the day following your regular scheduled waste collection day. All bagged leaves and grass clippings will be picked up on Friday.
The schedule for collection is as follows:

Leaves and grass clippings are to be placed at the curb side before 7:00 a.m. in brown compostable paper bags only. Yard waste placed in plastic bags will not be collected. Brush must be bundled in manageable size bundles and no branches larger than 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter.

Please note that the Compost Site (3514 Highway 43) is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The Compost Site will close for the season on November 19th at 4:00 p.m. Please call 613-283-4124 Ext. 3302 for more information.
