You’re invited by the Smiths Falls Heritage House this Fall season for a number of great family fun events and activities.

Fall Fest

Join the Smiths Falls Heritage House on October 6, from 11am to 2pm, for Fall Fest! Spend some time outdoors in the changing colours, and celebrate the season with family friendly activities, games and horse-drawn wagon rides. Fall Fest is admission by donation. While on site, pick up your pumpkin for entering into the community pumpkin carving contest. Pumpkins have been generously sponsored by Miller’s Farm.

The Haunted Heritage House

The Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum invites you to some thrilling nights of fright on October 18, 19, 25 and 26 from 7pm – 9pm, at 11 Old Slys Road. Tiptoe through the corridors of an 1860s home, where actors and ghosts will greet you in unsuspecting ways. Groups will be sent through individually to offer a completely spoiler-free experience to the home. With over 40 volunteers, this event will be sure to scare you into the Halloween season. The museum will offer seasonal treats and homemade apple cider, available for purchase.

Tickets for the Haunted Heritage House are $10 per person and are available for sale on sfhauntedhouse.eventbrite.ca. Tickets will also be available at the door, on a first come, first serve basis. This event usually sells out and it is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

Community Pumpkin Carving Contest

Show off your Jack-o-lantern creations in a Community Pumpkin Carving Contest. Entries for the Community Pumpkin Carving Contest can be dropped off to the museum on October 17 and will be displayed on the grounds until October 31 for public voting. A voting drop box can be found on site.
