The Town of Smiths Falls is excited to launch the 2024 “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” photo contest that aims to collect the 12 best photos of Smiths Falls for the 2025 Municipal Calendar.

The 12 photos are selected through an evaluation process by the Economic Development and Tourism department and the photographers of the 12 shots will each receive $50 in Downtown Dollars as well as photo credit in the Municipal Calendar.

Those who would like to participate can easily submit their photos at www.smithsfalls.ca/hitmewithyourbestshot. Each photographer is allowed to submit a maximum of 10 images. Images of of landscape, nature and architecture, public art, icons, heritage sites or community activities in Smiths Falls are highly encouraged. If your submission is selected for the 2025 calendar, you will receive an email from the Town advising you on when to collect your Downtown Dollars at Town Hall. The contest will run until Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 4:30 PM.
