APPOINTMENTS TO THE
RECREATION HALL OF FAME
TAKE NOTICE THAT completed applications, whether by delivery, fax, email or regular mail addressed to the undersigned, will be received until 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 from any member of the general public who desires to have their name considered for appointments the RECREATION HALL OF FAME.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and Canadian Citizens.
Individuals are being sought for this committee the remainder of this four-year term (concurrent with the term of Council).
RECREATION HALL OF FAME
The Recreation Hall of Fame Committee, is a committee of the Council of the Town of Smiths Falls that was created for the purpose of selecting and recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements of individuals/teams and/or organizations in recreation and/or recreation related endeavours in the community. It was originally established by the Smiths Falls Parks and Recreation Committee in April of 1981.
An application must be completed and returned to the Clerk’s office by the above noted date. Both the Policy and the Application Form are available from the Clerk’s Office or on the Town’s website at: https://www.smithsfalls.ca/en/town-hall/committees-of-council.aspx
