Smiths Falls, ON - The Town of Smiths Falls is pleased to unveil the programming for the 2023 Canada Day celebrations. You are invited to join Mayor and Council at Lower Reach Park on July 1st from 9:00 AM for a full day of Canada Day festivities.

This year’s free entry event will kick off with a cash only Pancake Breakfast starting 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kinsmen Pavilion. Parents can start registering their children for the Canada Day Bike Parade at 11:00 AM. Speeches and cupcakes will begin at 12:00 PM followed by family fun day activities including DJ Johnny Five, Circus Delights inflatables, dunk tank, games, face painting, Mojo Magic Show and so much more. There will be a vendors market available on site.

The evening activities will begin at 5:00 PM with live music from Tom Watson and The Barrel Boys leading up to the fireworks at 9:15 PM. The beer tent will be open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

“We are excited to host residents and visitors for another year of Canada Day celebrations. If there is something that the pandemic taught all of us, it’s that we cannot take congregating with our communities for granted and we should take this opportunity to celebrate each other, our Town and the country we live in”, said Mayor Shawn Pankow.

Limited parking will be available on site, we encourage residents who live close by to walk or bike to the park.
