The Town of Smiths Falls is excited to announce a community consultation initiative focused on shaping the future of Lower Reach Park. We’re inviting residents to share their thoughts, ideas, and aspirations for how we can improve this cherished public space to better serve our community.
To facilitate community input, we have launched an online survey available to all residents. The survey allows community members to provide feedback conveniently and will be open for responses until November 10th, 2024.
In addition to the online survey, the Town will host an in-person community workshop on Saturday, November 4th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Smiths Falls Community Centre. This workshop will provide an open space for residents to share their ideas directly with Town representatives and engage in collaborative discussions with fellow community members. Light refreshments will be provided.
“Our goal is to create a park that reflects the needs and desires of the Smiths Falls community,” said Stephanie Clark, Director of Community Services “Lower Reach Park is a special place for residents and visitors alike, and this consultation is a chance for everyone to help shape its future.” The insights gathered from the survey and workshop will play a vital role in guiding the development plans for Lower Reach Park, ensuring that the Town’s vision aligns with the community’s priorities.
