Working in collaboration with the Smiths Falls Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Smiths Falls Business Association, we are proud to launch the Shop Local 2025 Smiths Falls Catalogue.
This initiative highlights the diverse range of goods that can be found in Smiths Falls, from artisan crafts and home décor to specialty foods and unique gifts. By shopping local, residents and visitors alike can discover high-quality Canadian-made products while directly supporting small businesses and strengthening the local economy. “Many still don’t realize that Smiths Falls is home to an incredible array of small businesses that offer exceptional products, many of which are made right here in Ontario,” said Julia Crowder, Manager of Economic Development and Tourism for the Town of Smiths Falls.
Supporting small businesses is essential for maintaining a vibrant and thriving community. The Town of Smiths Falls invites residents and visitors to browse the Shop Local 2025 catalogue, discover the fantastic products available locally, and make a meaningful impact by choosing to shop local. “The amount of locally made products we’ve discovered in our town’s businesses is nothing short of remarkable,” adds Leslie Richardson, Executive Director of the Smiths Falls Chamber of Commerce, “and we are excited to share these treasures with both our residents and visitors.”
The digital catalogue can be viewed online at smithsfalls.ca/local, making it easy for shoppers to explore featured products and find participating businesses. The initiative is ongoing, and the partner organizations hope to add more products and businesses to the catalogue, in the coming weeks.
"The Downtown Smiths Falls Business Association is thrilled to showcase an array of incredible locally made products and invites visitors to explore all the unique shops, dining, and experiences that make downtown a must-visit destination," said Megan McIlvenna, Coordinator for the Downtown Smiths Falls Business Association.
Local businesses interested in being featured in the catalogue are encouraged to contact Kerri Barlow at kbarlow@smithsfalls.ca for more details.
