Background

On April 22, 2024 a delegation presented at the Committee of the Whole meeting requesting that Council consider allowing backyard chickens (egg-laying hens) within the Town limits. (Please note: Roosters would not be permitted) Council requested that a staff report be prepared and presented at the May 21^st Committee of the Whole meeting , noting that further information would need to be acquired. Council are now looking for public feedback in order to make an informed decision.
